About this beach
Utjeha Small Beach is a charming, well-regarded beach in the village of Utjeha, around 10km north-west of Ulcinj, rated 4.5 from over 140 visitors. It is a secluded pebble and sand cove backed by hillside vegetation, offering some of the clearest water on this section of the Montenegrin coast.
The beach has a natural, unspoilt character — minimal development, no loud music, and a calm pace that draws visitors specifically seeking an escape from the busier Ulcinj beach scene. Snorkelling in the clear water is a highlight.
Utjeha is a favourite among those who value the untouched Adriatic coastline and are willing to venture a little further from the main resort area to find it.
Good to know
Located in Utjeha village, roughly 11km from central Ulcinj — a car is needed. Facilities are minimal so bring your own food and water. Best visited on a weekday if possible, as it gets popular at weekends with local families.
