About this beach
Bečići Beach is one of the longest and most attractive sandy beaches on the entire Budva Riviera, stretching for nearly 2 km along the bay of Bečići, about 2.5 km east of Budva.
The beach is an award-winning stretch of fine pale pebbles (sometimes called 'the finest beach in Europe' — it won a Golden Palm award historically) with impressively clear shallow water. The wide, gently sloping shore is ideal for families and confident swimmers alike. Sunbeds, parasols, and water sports facilities are available. The beach is backed by hotels and a promenade with cafes and restaurants.
Its combination of size, water quality, and setting makes it one of the premier beaches in Montenegro.
Good to know
Bečići Beach is about a 30-minute walk from central Budva along the coast path, or a short taxi or bus ride. It can get very busy in high season — morning visits give the best experience. Water sports hire is available at several points along the beach.
