About this beach
Jaz Beach is one of the largest and most celebrated sandy beaches on the Budva Riviera, stretching along a wide bay about 3 km west of Budva's old town.
The beach offers a sweeping arc of golden sand backed by green hills, with crystal-clear Adriatic water that stays calm thanks to the sheltered bay. Sunbeds and parasols are available for rent, and several bars and snack stands line the shore. The relaxed atmosphere attracts both families and younger visitors who enjoy the open space. Jaz is also famous for hosting major open-air concerts and festivals.
Its size means it rarely feels crowded even in peak summer, and the scenery — mountains framing a wide blue bay — is genuinely spectacular.
Good to know
Arrive early in the morning for the best sunbed spots along the central stretch. A taxi or local bus from Budva centre takes under 10 minutes. The beach gets busier around midday; morning and late afternoon are quieter.
