About this beach
Mogren 2 Beach is the larger of the two sheltered coves that make up the Mogren beach complex, located below the cliffs south of Budva's old town walls.
Accessible via a scenic clifftop path and a short tunnel connecting it to Mogren 1, this section is slightly more open, with fine pebbles and deep turquoise water. The location is stunning — enclosed by limestone cliffs with views back toward the old town and the Adriatic horizon. Sunbeds and basic facilities are available on the beach, and the water is calm and clear, ideal for swimming and snorkelling along the rocky edges.
It suits visitors who prefer a quieter, more scenic alternative to the main Budva beach strip, with a rating of 4.4 reflecting consistently positive visitor experiences.
Good to know
Access is via the path from the old town (about 15–20 minutes walk) or from the Mogren 1 side. The second cove tends to be slightly less busy than the first. Water shoes are handy for the pebble entry.
