About this beach
Mogren Beach is a small, sheltered sandy cove tucked beneath dramatic cliffs on the south side of Budva's old town peninsula, roughly 1.5 km from the centre.
The beach is split into two connected sections — Mogren 1 and Mogren 2 — reachable via a scenic clifftop path. The setting is one of the most picturesque in Budva: sheer limestone cliffs frame the cove, the water is a deep, clear blue, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Sunbeds and a small café are available. The beach is well regarded for safe swimming and the sheltered location keeps it calm even on windier days.
Its combination of beauty, accessibility from the old town, and manageable size makes it a favourite for those staying in central Budva.
Good to know
The path from the old town walls to Mogren takes about 15 minutes on foot. The two coves are connected by a short tunnel cut through the cliff. Arrive before 10am in peak season to get a sunbed on the sandy section.
