FAQ

What is a baldahin or cabana on a Montenegro beach, and how much does one cost?

A baldahin (sometimes called a cabana) is an enclosed or semi-enclosed canopy daybed — essentially a private shaded platform with curtains or drapes, usually fitted with two mattresses and sometimes a small table. They offer much more privacy and shade than a standard sunbed-and-umbrella set.

Prices range from roughly EUR 40 to EUR 100 per day, varying by location and how upscale the beach bar is. Baldahins at clubs near Sveti Stefan or on premium stretches of Budva coast sit toward the top of that bracket; those at quieter spots like Przno or Kamenovo are often cheaper.

Because baldahins are limited in number and popular in peak season, most beach bars take advance reservations by phone, WhatsApp, or Instagram DM. If you want one for a weekend in July or August, book at least a few days ahead.
