Budva has a good beach right in front of the old town — Slovenska Plaza — which is lively, convenient, and lined with bars and restaurants. Just around the headland, Mogren offers two quieter, more scenic coves reached by a short cliff walk. Both are popular but worth it for the setting.
A short drive south opens up more options. Jaz (roughly 3 km from Budva) is a wide beach with a partly sandy surface, good for families and famous for open-air concerts. Becici and Rafailovici are adjacent Blue Flag-quality beaches about 5 km from the centre — calmer, with plenty of sunbed and bar infrastructure. Further south, Sveti Stefan and Milocer are among the most photographed spots in the country, though Queen's Beach there has an entry charge.
For the clearest water closest to Budva, Kamenovo beach is a short drive along a winding road and feels noticeably more sheltered and less busy than Slovenska Plaza in peak season.
