A VIP zone is a dedicated premium section of a beach club or beach bar, physically separated from the general admission area — sometimes by a rope, a raised platform, or a landscaped partition — where guests pay a higher minimum spend or reservation fee for enhanced service and better positioning. On the Montenegrin Riviera, VIP zones became commonplace around 2015–2018 as beach clubs professionalized their offerings to attract regional and international visitors. They typically feature the best sightlines to the sea or stage area, priority waiter service, a dedicated hostess or table manager, premium glassware, ice buckets, and occasionally branded amenities such as sunscreen and fruit platters. During DJ events and live music nights the VIP zone provides acoustic distance from the main speakers while still enjoying the atmosphere. Prices fluctuate dramatically: a VIP table at a Budva beach club during a headline DJ night can require a minimum bottle spend of €300–600, while weekday VIP reservation during a quiet afternoon may be only €40–60.
